It was a nice month. I really like the school in Oarța de Jos. The road to go there is little bit tricky but when I go to the school teach and socialize with the kids I feel alright instantly. We formed a 3 group of 5 students and try to answer as much as questions we can. It was a cute competition. Students were so happy. Also, we were happy too. Same week we also went to the dog shelter. We wanted to take pictures of dogs, to make posters. It was hard to take nice pictures of them because they are so energetic, and they don’t pose for camera. We also clean their cages and play games with them as usual. It is very soulful act. Next week, we went to the Oarța de Jos again. This time we had more time and we went out to the fields to have an activity there. We played lots of games together and had fun. I was making them play the games I learned in Turkey when I was children. Then we played the games of Marco’s.
Then when we run out of games, we played the games the young students know. They had to translate long paragraphs to the English in order to makes us understand the game. Those efforts were very funny. We go to the dog shelter again. Every time, I go to the dog shelter dogs are loving me more and more. Of course, I love them too. We played games, clean their cages, give them food. We did as usual. Same week, we went to the high school called Colegiul Tehnic "George Barițiu. Those students are a bit older and most of them speaks English. So, we had lots of meaningful conversations about life, universe and everything else. I really enjoy time spending with those students. They also teach me a lot of stuff. I like to hear what they think on a specific topic. Sometimes they so funny. For example, one time they were introducing themselves. They were telling their name and one thing they like or don’t like. So, one guy only wanted to tell his name. We asked about something he like or not like. He said that he hates school. Was fun day. Other week we go to the picnic with the students form Oarța de Jos. Picnic was so good. They all brought food or drinks. We ate, we talked, we played games, we danced. The kids were laughing all the time. They were having fun mercilessly.
All
and all, it was a great month. I enjoyed and learned new things. I feel happier
everyday. I hope it goes like this.
